Low-rent, low-ridin' 50s Chevy pick-up by TomFawls Low-rent, low-ridin' 50s Chevy pick-up by TomFawls
1950s era Chevrolet pick-up truck customized into a low-rent low-rider. The body appears to have been purposely left looking deteriorated, while the chasis and undecarriage are high-end new components.

I think it works well because it has a few knocks and some rust. Kinda of adds a little romance

I agree about the people...but it was a car show with a lot of folks everywhere and I'm not great at asking random folks to work with me on my photos - I've got to be in the mood...and that day I'd just finished teaching a 3 hour photography workshop wandering through the city and it was hot and my feet hurt and the sun was in my eyes and, and, and...

Oh. Did I mention that I'm basically a lazy sack?

Thank you, I did, too...especially how they contrasted with the old "beater body".

BTW, I loved "Little Swashbuckler". It was such a great capture of a "kid moment". :D

I loved the body just the way it is.. It just looks as if it belongs that way. :D

My Daughter put it up in her gallery. Stop by if you would and comment. I linked to it on my submission of it. Here's the [link] Stop by and say hello and let her know you like the pic. Not a lot of people look at her work because she doesn't put up a lot. Thanks.

It certainly does.

And I just left a note on your daughter's site...and added he to my watch list.
